Crafty Valentine's Day Cards

Hello adorable makers!

Valentine's Say is just around the corner and I want to share something pretty fun for all of you. I created three Valentine's Day printable cars with unique saying for that special someone. I created these printable cards using Rapture, Summerlove and Heartland fabrics, and well those collections gives these cards that little extra pink perfect for Valentine's day.

I know, I will be using some of these cuties myself for Tuesday. I love gifting chocolates and little somethings, not only to my husband, but also to my closest friends and relatives. Just giving them something, as small as it is, it makes me feel really good. And it's even better if it's something made entirely by me. I think that DIY gifts are the best because the come out straight from the heart.

Aren't these cute? Get that special someone or just anyone you truly care about a nice little DIY gift along with one of these fun printable cards.

Thank you, 2013!

Today is my birthday, and I decided that it was the perfect day to say: THANK YOU. This year has been amazing, and nothing would be possible without the support of the people around me. Designing fabrics is my passion and quilting warms my heart. This year brought so many projects that I wanted to share some of them with you. Some of these projects were quilts that came as free projects released with the two collections I launched: Carnaby St. and Rapture.

Some were featured in magazines:

Of course one of the highlights for me was to be on the cover of Generation Q next to my husband Walter, and that gorgeous quilt made with Summerlove (pun untended lol).

And it goes without saying that I was the happiest to see all the projects made by all of you, my lovelies, that were shared on Instragram, Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest, and all of the platforms that connect us. THANK YOU!

May the new year bring you bliss, health, and lots of quilting!

Happy sewing,

I made the cover!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and share with you the November-December 2013 issue of Generation Q magazine. I made the cover! {big smile}

I'm so honored that Jake and Melissa at Generation Q wanted to interview me! And I'm overjoyed to be featured on the cover!

I received a copy of the magazine at the Fall Quilt Market and I had a chance to pose for a photograph with the handsome man on the cover with me, my husband Walter.

Here is a sneak peek of my interview.

I shared a look inside my home; my family haven. My home reflects my love of color, history and design. I have so many goodies in nooks and crannies of my home. I had to quickly clean things up a little bit for the photoshoot, LOL!

Here I am in front of my special inspiration board where I pin up magazine clippings. In the magazine there is also a look inside my studio and a free quilt pattern for my Summerlove quilt.

I love the way the interview came out! It's something that I'll treasure forever. Thanks Generation Q for letting me share my story with others.

xoxo,
