A Nod to Furoshiki, Laundry Bag

Hello everyone!
It's time for another We All Sew tutorial! This one is one of my favorites so far. I was so in-love with this bag when I saw it at the AGF Denim Studio booth back in International Quilt Market, that I decided to do one for myself. And what a great way to mix Dare Fabrics ,  Pure Elements  and AGF Denim Studio while adding BERNINA'S unique decorative stitches. 

This bag it's so versatile! You don't have to use it as a laundry bag only, you can also have it as decorative puff in your home (filled them with poly-fill and you are set) I want to create two more and have them as puff in my home studio. Also, isn't this a perfect holiday gift? It's quick to make! So run to your nearest quilt store, get all the materials and start sewing, you still have three days for Christmas!

Artisan Quilt As You Go Pillow Case

Happy Monday everyone!

How did you all spend your weekend? Sewing or quilting I suppose, I know I did. To be constantly creating is what motivates me daily! And speaking of creating, I can finally show you what I had been working on with #ArtisanFabrics for the We All Sew blog, so excited! Ever wonder what to do with those countless scraps of fabrics laying around your sewing room? Well I always wonder what to do with them, honestly.....it's sad to see them there! I call them, wasted wonderland, but not anymore! In my latest We All Sew tutorial, I will teach how to use those fabrics left overs and to create this adorable Quilt as You Go pillow case using #ArtisanFabrics.

Floral Geometry Table Topper on We All Sew

Hello lovelies!

Hexies are so in vogue these days! Have you ever thought to appliqué them instead of sewing them together? I wanted to share this project I created using Rapture for Bernina's blog: We All Sew on how to sew hexies by machine. FREE PROJECT : Bluework Revival Table Runner

Hello everyone! I’m delighted to share my newest creation, The Bluework Revival Table Runner for WeAllSew.

I had fun experimenting with the BERNINA 780 irregular hand-quilt stitch. It allowed me to recreate the traditional look of bluework with a hand-look stitch.

My inspiration came from bluework, Dutch or Chinese blue and white porcelain and old Delft pottery. The the classic and timeless blue porcelain look is right on trend showing up in fashion and home decor in unique and modern ways. I just love it! How about you?

BTW... The blue fabric I used as a backdrop for the Bluework Revival Table Runner photo is Floralism Deep Sea from my Modernology collection. It worked perfectly with the the table runner and my porcelain dishes! Do you have any porcelain dishes stashed away for special occasions?
