Fashion and Indie Folk

Hello everyone!

I wanted to make this blog post for a long time now, but I finally took a little break from sewing and making fun YouTube videos and started typing away. As you all know, I love fashion and I seek inspiration for future collections on the latest fashion runways. Once my collection is finished, I refer to fashion runways and trends, once again, for my LookBook production.
For example, I created these stunning pair of jeans with my Khokhloma Burgundia print. I cut some of the big and small flowers and glued it to the jeans with fabric glue. I was inspired to do so by looking at some awesome fashion trends.  

When I design my collections, I focus on how these fabrics are going to be use for future makers. I want to make sure they can make their outstanding quilts as well as fabulous outfit. For example using Khokhloma Gloom and Flecks Indigo, I created this jacket, which perfect for a Sunday stroll.

Tutorial Time! Rosemary's ♥ Quilt

Hello, hello everyone! 

I had been working so hard on my upcoming videos that I almost forgot to share this quick blog post! I must admit, I am having a blast filming and viewing the final result of my videos. Fabled Quilt

Hello everyone!

Now that the holidays are over and we have a little time in our hands,  I think it is appropriate to share this blog post. All of you have seen this beauty inside the pages of the Indie Folk LookBook, but I think it deserves a blog post of its own. The Fable Quilt or "commonly" known as the Elephant Quilt has receive so much love from all of you, I am greatly thankful. Even though this quilt seems a little bit complicated, fear not my lovelies because you will have an amazing time sewing and quilting this baby!

Learn how to make this Holy Herb bed topper

Happy Monday!! 

Did you enjoy making the Mola over the weekend? I hope you did because now I have another project for you to enjoy making. This "Holy Herb" bed topper is life! When I first saw this I gasp at the sight of it. I love how Folksy it is and how the Indie Folk fabrics are showcased on this project.

Quilt Block of the Month "Temperance Tree"

Hello everyone!

The holidays are around the corner and I have created this month's Quilt Block of The Month inspired by the festivities. The "Temperance Tree" block will be a perfect new addition to your Holiday's decoration. You can watch the video here

For this quilt block, I decided to play around a little and I added a free motion quilted the sides. I think this detail makes this piece a little bit more holiday looking. As always for all things sewing, I use my reliable BERNINA 790 and let me tell you, this machine is God sent! Once I am done with one sewing project, I can't wait to start with my next one again!

The Indie Folk LookBook is here!

Are you all ready?
