Stylesight Feature!!

Hello lovelies!

I am so thrilled to be informed that I had been featured in Stylesight (currently known as WGSN) as their megatrends inspiration for children. My Wild Beauty Saffron design from my Rapture Collection was the one to be displayed in Stylesight's trend forecast & development from S/S 16. I cannot explain how  happy and proud I feel. I am now a source of inspiration for many designers that are currently subscribed to this amazing global style network. This exiting news clearly made my day and week! and I couldn't wait to share the good news with all of you!

Happy April lovelies! I can't believe we are officially in Spring; time flies when we are having fun!

I was thinking what could be more representative of the spring season and I thought nothing can be better than this image inspired by Rapture collection. Tiny little flowers from Delicate Femme Apricot are combined with a watercolor look for a soft and refreshing background that will reflect calm and happiness every time you look at it. You have the option to use it with our without this month's calendar. I hope you enjoy it!

Happy March lovelies! This month I'm early with my monthly desktop background. March marks what are usually the first signs of Spring and all of its blooming and rebirth. It also shows the first rays of sun that will burst completely during my favorite time of the year: Summer.

This month the background is inspired by Rapture. Buds and petals from Wild Beauty Saffron really stand out against the dark blue background. You have the option to use it with our without the calendar. I hope you like it!

Dreamscape Pillow Free Pattern

Hi lovelies! As some of you know I have been working on many things at once (that's just the norm, lol), and I have posted sneak peeks through my social media profiles. Today I am finally posting the finished free PDF pattern for my Dreamscape Pillow that I created using both my Carnaby St. and Rapture collections. I also added White Linen and Tender Green from the Pure Elements collection by AGF.

I created hexagons by sewing together six 60° triangles in different fabrics, each bordered on one side with strip-pieced diagonal cuts of 1/2" strips in the Pure colors. I then added more triangles in between. I like to cut, sew, and arrange things spontaneously to see what starts to develop. This is my favorite way to design my projects and quilt patterns. I hope you like what I created this time!

How beautiful is the heart created by the wooden panels? I love it!

Hello lovelies!

First I want to take the time to thank you for all your amazing comments and all the love you show for me and for my work. I put great effort in creating fabric collections that will bring joy to all your projects. And it makes me truly happy to see you welcome them into your lives. This week I am also grateful because since I showed my newest collection at Quilt Market (recap here) with butterflies in my stomach. Yet, I have received such great feedback! So today I'm thrilled to announce that the  RAPTURE collection is now available!

The fabrics are inspired by one of my favorite designers, KENZO, and the watercolor style that has currently become the latest trend. The color palette has soft pastels, but yet it's bright and happy too! I'm so happy right now in my professional and personal life, so I wanted Rapture to be a reflection of this joyous time!

I designed this collection with a woman in mind. She is fearless and sophisticated. She dares to wear bold prints with bright hues of lemon, red, and blue. She loves to be raptured by the beauty in everything she sees and she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Her happy and serene world is surrounded by bright yet harmonious colors. She loves to dream in watercolor and she shares her vision through her paint brush. 

Rapture comes in two sophisticated color ways: Citric Happiness & Subtle Joy.

Citric Happiness, as the name describes, is full of citric yellows and happy corals with hints of teal, berry, and tender green.

Subtle Joy focuses on the soft sides of blue and peach, with hints of cream and mint. Both color ways embrace traces of crystal pink and black.

One of my favorite prints in this collection is Wild Beauty (in both color ways). It embodies the mood of this collection perfectly with its painted flowers, watercolor brush traces, with both bright and subtle tones and the boldness of a black. I love its versatility being great to work in all quilts, fashion, and home decor.

I haven't stopped sewing with Rapture. A lot of the projects will be FREE patterns available to you in the coming months! You can start making my FREE quilt pattern, Blissful quilt, now! You'll love making this quilt. It is easy to make and will sure bring bliss to your home (or for a loved one since the holidays are right around the corner).

Rapture is perfect for combining with all the Elements that AGF has to offer! If you want to throw in some solids to the mix, here is a list of Pure Elements that go great with Rapture:
